The Mind Field, Inc. Launches CARE Line App to Expand Access to Mental Health Support
New mobile app provides direct access to CARE Line chat and calling services in recognition of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month
DALLAS, TX — July 1, 2026 — The Mind Field, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to defusing the stigma surrounding mental health, is proud to announce the launch of the CARE Line app, released on July 1, 2026, in recognition of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.
The CARE Line app places mental health support directly at users’ fingertips, providing a convenient way to connect with the CARE Line via in-app chat and phone. The CARE Line is staffed by licensed professional counselors and provides compassionate, accessible support for individuals who may need someone to talk to during difficult moments.
CARE stands for Community, Access, Response, and Empathy, the core values that guide The Mind Field, Inc.’s approach to mental health support.
“Launching the CARE Line app during Minority Mental Health Awareness Month is deeply intentional,” said Teri Cabrera, Founder and President of The Mind Field, Inc. “Access continues to be one of the barriers that prevents many people from seeking support. We wanted to make it easier for individuals to connect with someone when they need support, in a way that feels accessible, familiar, and immediate.”
The CARE Line app represents an important step in The Mind Field, Inc.’s ongoing efforts to expand mental health access and reduce stigma, particularly in communities that have historically faced barriers to care. Through the app, users can connect directly with the CARE Line by chatting with a support professional or by calling from their mobile device.
The CARE Line is currently available Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight in all time zones, with plans to consider expanded hours in the future.
The launch comes during Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, a month dedicated to raising awareness about the unique mental health experiences and barriers faced by racial and ethnic minority communities. The Mind Field, Inc. honors the legacy of Bebe Moore Campbell, whose advocacy helped raise awareness of the importance of mental health and culturally responsive support.
“The goal has always been to remind people that their feelings matter and that they deserve support,” Cabrera said. “The CARE Line app is another way we are working to make that support easier to reach.”
The CARE Line app is available for download on mobile devices. Users can also access CARE Line services and additional mental health resources through The Mind Field, Inc.
